January 9, 2017 – Since 2013, the SYNCFAB team has worked tirelessly with the firm belief that American Manufacturing would become competitive again based on shifting dynamics in design and engineering requirements, consumer demand, environmental pressures, transportation and energy costs, Geo-Economics and advanced manufacturing technologies. 2017 promises to be the year we will begin to see breakthrough technological applications at the forefront of the modern advanced manufacturing facility particularly with regards to the connected smart factory. The connectivity component is now often referred to as IoT (Internet of Things) or IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). The timing of these technological convergences could not be any better as we prepare the launch of SYNCFAB 2.0 Regional Advanced Manufacturing Procurement Platform built in cooperation with the Cities of San Francisco and San Leandro Mayors’ Offices of Civic Innovation in 2016 to be deployed in 2017 alongside the US Department of Energy and Commerce’s National Smart Manufacturing Innovation Initiative. More will be shared on the timing of SYNCFAB 2.0 launch at our upcoming Post-CES 2017 IoT Hardware and Smart Supply Chain Update in partnership with B8TA at their new store at 395 Santa Monica Place #244 on Friday January 13 at 6PM.
RSVP to join us for what will prove to be a delightful introduction to their newly opened Hardware tryout Retail Store!
