SyncFab is driving awareness of the applicability of blockchain technology and the industrial internet of things (IIoT) for manufacturers and municipalities. As part of this effort, SyncFab CEO Jeremy Goodwin recently shared the organization’s vision and activities with business executives, industry professionals, and smart city leaders.
On July 11th, at the 3rd IoT Global Innovation Forum held in Portland, Oregon, Jeremy was a featured speaker presenting The Blockchain Supply Chain for Smart City Development. Jeremy also joined a panel titled, Toward the IoT Smart City, along with Johnson Controls, UtiliWorks, and eMotorWerks.
After the event, Jeremy commented, “The presentation was well attended and well received by members of the Portland City Innovation Team and Smart City Executives. It’s a great opportunity to share real SyncFab use cases and the smart city trends we are seeing in this sector.”
SyncFab is active in smart city development and economic development initiatives through collaborations with the City of San Leandro and City of San Francisco, as part of the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII), and through involvement with the Bay Area Advanced Manufacturing group.
